The Western Region Development Network of NGOs (WERENGO) has been selected as part of the first Cohort to benefit under the Civic Space Resource Hub (CSR-Hub) project to receive capacity strengthening and technical support for the work WERENGO does. The network provides a platform for and builds the capacities of NGOs in the Western and Western North Regions Of Ghana.
The CSR-Hub project which will span from September 2022- August 2023, will provide support to WERENGO in the four strategic areas including Civic Space Protection, Organizational Governance, and Regulatory Compliance, Digital Security and Protection, and Resource Mobilization and Financial Resilience.
The project, being sponsored by Ford Foundation will be implemented in partnership with other carefully selected organizations across Africa. These organizations are Penplusbyte, Spaces for Change, Busara Africa, Nigeria Network of NGO(NNGO), West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), Paradigm Initiative, and Placement Ghana.
